Do you make natural supplements a part of your daily routine and boost your immunity + energy? Us busy mamas know that we need to eat healthy foods, drink lots of water, get enough sleep, get 10,000 steps a day, and manage our stress. Try as we might, things don’t always go as planned or as hoped for. I’m grateful to have found Canadian-made Provita Nutrition to give me that extra edge!

Any teacher will tell you that we seem to get sick more than most others. It’s probably because we work closely with students who have sniffles and sneezes. This supplement trial was timely as I was feeling worn down with the daily grind and we were just heading into our Spring Break (as I’ll tell you more about later on!).
I’ve previously written about how I try to keep my energy up as a busy working mom through nutrition and exercise. When I started my 30 day trial of Provita Nutritional supplements, we were kicking off Spring Break. Sounds fun and relaxing… RIGHT?
In theory, YES! In reality, we had a double-header planned. First off, we had a rented house with a dozen of my husband’s family in Palm Springs for a family wedding, followed by Disneyland!
Needless to say, there were lots of late nights, family road trips, and a ton of dancing into the late night at the wedding. I did have one lazy afternoon at the pool. I think I need to go back. Haha.
When you go to Disneyland, you don’t expect to have much R & R. It’s a total blast, but let’s be honest. Those long days, late nights, constant walking and waiting in lineups drag you down. The first day we were there, I felt myself feeling run down. Thinking, it was just all the Disneyland over stimulation, I didn’t worry too much about it. The second day in, I came down with a runny nose, headache + body aches. I had a cold. In fact, all four people in our hotel room got sick.
I kept on taking my Provita Supplements, and Nona recommended I up my dosage from one capsule of the Modimmune and Endothione to two. Paired with a much-needed mid-day nap, I found that I rebounded more quickly than the others and was able to enjoy the rest of our trip… including laughing at my husband’s broken sunglasses on Splash Mountain!
