I’m kind of a ‘local, conscious brand’ groupie. I love trying out new products and sharing them with my friends– and my community. This Ethigal Approved list will keep you updated on our latest finds for yourself and your family.
For starters, my EBA Tote has become my go-to bag for work, weekends, travel and carrying my kid’s stuff around! Designed for the active conscious woman from high quality sustainable materials, the totes are made ethically in the USA. Kickstarter launching April 2nd 2018 (love the cork tote!) Did you know that most of the argan oil available in Canadian stores only contains a small percentage of the ‘good stuff’? I love that Kasbah Oil is 100% pure and organic. I’ve loved using their original Argan oil (black bottle) on my face, hair and cuticles, and also love their new products: Orange Blossom, Rose Essence, and Moroccan Clay. Since I got this handmade love knot ring, I haven’t taken it off! I love its minimal styling and the fact that it’s two rings tied together. Sterling silver and gold jewelry are locally made, using North American refined silver, with a focus on natural stones from the Pacific Northwest.

My son love these books! I also shared them with teachers and students at my school to rave reviews. Founded by two working moms, Other Life Lessons has the goal of publishing unconventional, honest children’s books about everything from grief and mental health to working moms and coming in last place. Their first three- book series includes the titles: “Life’s Not Fair”, “Why Mommy Works”, and “Sometimes Someone Dies”. Series Two is currently in development.
